Rotork is the market leading actuator manufacturer and flow control company that operates in any market where the flow of gasses or liquids needs to be controlled. It has established manufacturing facilities, a global network of local offices and agents who can truly provide a worldwide service. You will be able to locally source Rotork's products, supported by life-of-plant maintenance, repair and upgrade services.

Rotork Controls is the home of the flagship IQ intelligent electric actuator range. The IQ range features legendary innovations including Rotork's unique double-sealed enclosure, 'non-intrusive' infra-red commissioning, data-logging and predictive maintenance capabilities. More recent innovations include the advanced display, Bluetooth communications interface and absolute encoder.

The IQ functionality and reliability is available for valves of virtually every size and description, including multi-turn (rotary), quarter-turn, isolating and modulating, with watertight and hazardous area approvals to all internationally recognised standards.

Electric actuator ranges also include the AWT for simplified control duties, ROM, ROMpak and Q direct drive actuators for small quarter-turn valves and IEEE qualified NA actuators for the nuclear power industry.

Rotork actuators are compatible with a wide range of communication and process control systems. Rotork's own Pakscan system offers advanced actuator network control similar to network control from Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus, DeviceNet and Hart.

Rotork Fluid Systems product offering encompasses GP, CP and RC200 / RCI200 ranges of scotch-yoke pneumatic actuators, GH (scotch yoke) and RH (rack & pinion) hydraulic actuators, the GO range of gas-over-oil actuators, the HPG range of high-pressure direct-gas actuators and the Skilmatic range of electro-hydraulic actuators.

In addition to quarter-turn designs, most ranges are also available for linear valve applications. Many actuators are built for critical high-speed failsafe or emergency shutdown (ESD) duties in harsh locations, including subsea actuators for valves at depths measured in hundreds of metres.

Rotork Process Controls manufactures electric actuators for continuous modulating control in the process industries. The products fall into two main groups:

Control valve actuators for control of flow or pressure in a process and motion control in other applications.

  • CMA These modulating actuators deliver a series of sizes suitable for linear, quarter-turn and rotary control valve and pump applications requiring exact position control and restricted continuous modulation.
  • CVA  Uses advanced motion control technology to provide exceptional positioning and dynamic performance. Super-capacitors used for fail to position capability. Actuator calibration, configuration and interrogation are performed non-intrusively using wireless Bluetooth communications. Linear and quarter turn outputs available.
  • GPSA A smart actuator that includes its own PI process controller. Linear and multi-turn outputs available.
  • 1000/1600 series full range of compact, robust and cost effective process control valve actuators. Linear and multi-turn outputs available. Versatile enough to be used in a pump stroke control and other applications. MV-1000/VA-1000, MV-1500, SM-1000, SM-1100/SM-1500/SM-1600

Heavy duty damper drives for air and gas flow control in boilers and heaters.

  • LA2000 A range of linear output drives with a variety of travel lengths to provides burner shroud and damper automation. These are compact and cost effective solutions to damper automation. LA-2400 LA-2500
  • SM-1700/SM-5000 ranges provide proven reliability for dampers requiring rotary drives regardless of damper size.
  • SM-6000 is the most accurate damper drive available, providing fast reaction time and high precision for unparalleled boiler air and flue gas control.

Rotork Gears delivers innovative solutions to individual valve gearbox and valve accessory requirements, drawing on an unrivalled range of quality products. IW cast iron worm gear operators, also available as MOW modulating, MTW multi-turn (rotary), IWN nuclear industry and ILGD/ILGS actuator override versions, are complemented by smaller 232 aluminium, 300 stainless steel and AB cast iron manual gearboxes.

IB and IS cast iron bevel and spur operators are also available as the RAB range, with AWWA approval, and DSB dual shaft versions. The range is completed by economical HOB and NTB hand operators. Specialised and customised gearboxes include WGS subsea versions for actuated, manual and ROV valve operation.

Rotork Gears Valve Accessories capabilities include mounting kits, spools, pedestals, extension spindles, switchboxes, positioners, handwheels and chainwheels, offered with comprehensive packaging, assembly and test services.

Rotork Instruments offers high performance and precision for all its products. The products offered within this division include market leading regulators, boosters, relays and transducers.

The pneumatic pressure regulators reduce an unregulated high input pressure to a regulated lower output pressure. Its primary function is to maintain the regulated output pressure under flowing and non-flowing conditions.

The electro-pneumatic transducers are accurate, compact, lightweight and fast responding. Some models include analogue feedback input option that controls the process variable independent or transducer output.

Pneumatic air volume booster reproduce a low flow control signal with a higher regulated flow output pressure. It uses an unregulated input pressure to maintain a regulated output pressure under flowing and non-flowing conditions.

Pneumatic relays perform mathematical functions on one or more input signals that result in a single regulated pneumatic output.
